Other Culprits in Elbow Dysfunction

In addition to golfer’s elbow and tennis elbow, there are eight other common elbow and forearm injuries that can cause pain in more than a dozen different locations in the arm.

These often overlooked conditions include injuries to the flexor and extensor carpi ulnaris, pronator teres, supinator, and distal attachments of the triceps and biceps, as well as bursitis and traumatic arthritis.

You’ll gain the ability to assess all of these injuries, to treat those that respond well to manual therapy, and to refer the other types of client cases to an appropriate practitioner. Because this webinar covers such a wide range of injuries, the supplementary instructional videos include more than 25 clips detailing assessment tests, massage and myofascial treatment techniques, and exercise rehabilitation programs.

Unraveling the Mystery of Elbow Pain

From tennis elbow to biceps injuries to bursitis and arthritis, elbow and forearm injuries are both common and debilitating. These pain conditions often take years to heal on their own, because it’s difficult to do anything in our modern world without using the muscles of the lower arm. To make matters worse, many practitioners lack sufficient understanding of these injuries to provide proper assessment and treatment. In this series of webinars, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills needed to both assess and successfully treat the majority of cases of elbow and forearm pain. Just as important, you’ll get clear on the conditions you cannot help and the appropriate referrals for those client cases.
